SUGAR

This great tasting food has worked its way into our lives since birth.

Do you remember eating candy as a child, how good it felt and tasted eating your favorite treat? Dancing to the sound of the music in your head while sucking on your favorite lollipop. Those were the good old days.

The food industry makes trillions of dollars each year on sugar. Making sure that 99% of the processed foods we eat today contain some form of sugar.

They want to make sure we buy their products over and over again so they invest in chemists to formulate "The Bliss Point". That is a formula that has just enough sugar, fat and salt to make you crave their foods.

4 grams = 1 teaspoon of sugar

The average person eating the Standard American Diet (SAD) consumes 26 teaspoons = 104 grams of sugar PER DAY. Children eat 34 teaspoons = 136grams PER DAY. That is over 500 lbs of sugar a year, per person. With no nutritional value at all.

The American Heart Association recommends a maximum of 9 teaspoons = 36 grams a day of sugar for men, 6 teaspoons = 24 grams for woman DAILY.

Research shows that by the over consumption of sugar, you will be left with visceral fat. That deep fat that is stored underneath your skin around your belly and organs. This could also be known as, muffin top, spare tire etc.

There were independent studies conducted that show, sugar increases your chances of getting heart disease, diabetes, cancer and Alzheimer's.

Fructose found in processed foods & soft drinks cause the part of the brain that tells you when you are full, to shut down. So you keep on eating.

Did you know that just one soda a day = 50lbs of sugar a year?

Studies show sugar is MORE ADDICTIVE THAN COCAINE.

Are you addicted to sugar? Are you at risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes and Alzheimer's disease? Do you have trouble losing weight?

HOW MUCH SUGAR ARE YOU EATING PER DAY?

My reference on what to eat is..

...If God didn't create it, don't eat it.

He created raw honey, the kind from your local honey producer.

He created, stevia, a green plant that is naturally sweet.

He created, cane sugar, palm sugar and beet sugar.

Romans 12:2 New International Version (NIV)

2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
